Welcome to S.J. Organic Farms. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and your orders with us. By placing an order or using our website, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
Placing an Order
Orders for weekly produce, sourdough, and eggs are placed through our online store and typically open Sunday and close Tuesday at 5:00 PM for that week's Saturday pickup. Freezer beef can be pre-ordered at any time and is not tied to the weekly pickup window.
By placing an order, you confirm that the information you provide (name, phone number, email, and pickup location) is accurate and that you intend to pick up your order at the location and time selected.
Payment
Payment is processed securely through Square at the time of checkout. We do not directly store your full payment card details. All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice; the price shown at checkout is the price charged.
Pickup
Weekly produce, sourdough, and egg orders are available for pickup on Saturdays at the location and time you selected at checkout. Freezer beef is picked up directly at the farm and does not require a Saturday pickup window.
If you're unable to make your scheduled pickup, please contact us as soon as possible at (810) 304-4649 or stephanie@sjorganicfarms.com. We'll do our best to accommodate a different pickup time, but we cannot guarantee availability of your order past its scheduled pickup, and orders not picked up or rescheduled may be forfeited without refund.
Cancellations & Changes
Orders may be canceled or changed by contacting us directly before the weekly order window closes (Tuesday at 5:00 PM). Once the order window has closed, we may not be able to accommodate changes or cancellations, since your order is already being harvested, baked, or packed.
Product Availability & Variation
We're a small working farm, and availability of produce, sourdough flavors, and other goods depends on the season, weather, and harvest. We'll do our best to fulfill your order as requested, but substitutions may occasionally be necessary. Weights and sizes for produce and freezer beef are approximate, and final pricing for beef orders is confirmed with you before pickup based on actual cut and weight.
Food Safety & Disclaimers
All products are grown, baked, or raised on our farm with care, but we cannot guarantee they are free from allergens or cross-contact with allergens (including but not limited to nuts, dairy, eggs, and gluten). If you have food allergies or sensitivities, please contact us before ordering with any questions about ingredients or preparation.
Baked goods are made in a home kitchen that has not been inspected by the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, in accordance with Michigan's Cottage Food Law.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, photos, graphics, and logos — is the property of S.J. Organic Farms unless otherwise noted, and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our permission.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, S.J. Organic Farms is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or products, beyond the value of the order itself. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law that cannot be waived.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in how we operate. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version. Continued use of our website or ordering with us after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
